JOANNE DUFFFirst Vice President & Actuary
Joanne joined American Benefits Consulting in late 2020. She provides underwriting, financial, data, and account management services for clients in the Telecommunications, Financial Services and Consumer Products industries.
She has been an employee benefits actuary in the Group Insurance arena since 1999, primarily focused on large group life insurance, disability, dental, and voluntary plans. Through 2020, Joanne was a Vice President and Actuary with MetLife, providing underwriting, financial, and account management services to several jumbo clients.
Joanne is a Fellow of The Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She is also a member of the Group Underwriters Association of America and co-chairs the GUAA Dental Committee. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario Canada and majored in Mathematics and Statistics. She is also a licensed Life & Health Insurance Producer.
