First Vice President – Consultant
Erica joined American Benefits Consulting in 2017 after a 10-year career at Mercer where she served as a national resource specializing in absence management consulting initiatives. She has extensive experience working with clients across a wide array of industries on the design, strategy, and financial implications when developing, modifying, and managing their Life, Accident, Disability, and Absence Management plans. She has worked with public and private sector companies as well as numerous Fortune 500 companies on a wide variety of projects including disability and absence management assessments, competitive benchmarking, plan administration, vendor marketing with complex implementations, and leave and disability audits. She also has in-depth knowledge and experience in paid and unpaid time off programs including formalized Paid Time Off (PTO) and traditional vacation/sick plans, state and city sick leave law requirements, and company leave policies such as Parental Leave.
Erica has a BS in Health Care Management with a concentration in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
