Our History
American Benefits Consulting was founded in 1979 and started in the business of providing executive benefits consulting and plan administration services to Fortune 50 companies. In its early years, the firm focused primarily on providing Non-Qualified Executive Benefits and Compensation consulting to select clients, as well as joint product development initiatives with some of the world’s largest insurance carriers. From its inception, American Benefits invested in innovative, cutting edge technology solutions to facilitate and automate administration of sophisticated plan designs.

As the firm evolved, following the needs of its expanding customer base, American Benefits expanded its competency into the Group Insurance arena to supplement the Executive Benefit offerings it already provided its customers. It was able to leverage its deep actuarial expertise, along with its roots in technology innovation, to provide industry leading solutions in the Voluntary Benefits and Group Insurance business.

As we move further into the new century, American Benefits continues to make the investments necessary to continue to provide best in class service to its customers as well as expand its service offering to become the trusted benefits advisor to its growing list of premier Clients.
